“Scottish musician Millar Jukes continues to gain momentum in the Melbourne music scene with his combination of country and folk” – Sydney Morning Herald
Scottish-born Millar Jukes released his second EP, Chase The Sun in October 2015, and has been consistently winning new fans in response to an authentic Americana-inspired sound. Produced by ARIA Award winning Paul McKercher and recorded at Melbourne’s Sing Sing Studios, it’s a little taste of alt/country Americana with a fine pop sensibility.
Millar Jukes comes from a highly competitive musical family, with his two brothers being in a very popular band called Vigo Thieves, which “served as fuel” for his musical talent. Hailing from “a wee town outside of Glasgow, Scotland” he relocated to Melbourne three years ago, quickly forming a band and immersing himself into the local music scene
He is joined by Jakob Kagan and Toby Robinson.
