Subtropical Thunder’s Debut release ‘Natural Disasters’ will be launched at The Yarra on the 1st of December with Burning Diary and Wars. It’ll cost you 5 bucks and we will have Cds for sale with a tape release in the pipeline via Grubby Publications.
Most Sundays Subtropical Thunder meet at their cave and rehearse their songs. You could call them weekend warriors but in the cave there is nothing left to fight. The outside world can be a dark place but the songs from the cave are full of light. All worries are left at the door.
They take breaks to go outside and have a drink and talk about the weekend. They look at the sky and the buildings but it can get cold and the cave is warm.
There are songs about all sorts of things. Everything has been recorded in the cave and has been bundled together to form an album called Natural Disasters. Aren’t all disasters natural? It features drums, bass and guitar from Jackson Briggs, Adam Dalakis and Ryan Potter.
