Visiting Melbourne for the first time, HAPPY TO BE HERE is bringing emo-folk-rock / self proclaimed ‘meme rock’ band, CAPES to the Yarra Hotel to play a show with local folk heartthrobs, THE FLYING SO HIGH-OS!
Both doing exciting things with new tunes and traveling up and down the east coast of Australia of late, now bring their shows to Abbotsford, down Johnston street, just for you! Grab a beer and sing a song!
Having just released their third EP, Stop Laughing and Help, Capes have matured their folk styled story telling whilst maintaining their pop sensibility and sing along vibes!
Joined by The Flying So High-Os, a band who are as raw and honest as they are catchy and crafted. They get better every time we see them and we can’t wait to hear new material! In the meantime check out their excellent debut album Life as a Common Noun, released by Anchorhead Records.
In support will be the fresh faces of Indie-rock trio HOUSEHATS! FFO Shouting and great bass lines.
Also supporting is sad rock expert HOUSEBROKEN, made up of songwriter Jye Batham from local indie-punk band Turn South!
